Scrapbooking for Beginners The West Regional Library will be holding a scrapbooking workshop for beginners on October 11 from 6:30 to 8:00. This workshop is designed for adults who are interested in learning more about scrapbooking. No experience is necessary. Feel free to bring supplies or projects you are working on and share your ideas with other scrapbookers. |

Healthy Eating at the Library Laurie Acosta, a registered dietician and diabetes educator with West Jefferson General Hospital will lead a program focused on eating healthy at the St. Rose Library. The program will discuss practical ideas that everyone can use to eat and cook healthier. The program will be held October 16 at 11:30. |

Book Discussion Groups Readers now have an opportunity to attend book discussion groups at two library locations. Book discussion groups give participants the opportunity to meet with fellow readers and discuss books. A book discussion group meets at the West Regional Library on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30. They will meet October 3 to discuss Life of Pi by Yann Martel The East Regional Library book discussion group meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30. They will meet October 17 to discuss The Mercy of Thin Air by Ronlyn Dominigue. The St. Rose Library is in the planning stages of its own book discussion group.
