St. Charles Parish Library Board of ControlThe Library Board of Control holds regular meetings six times a year, on the third Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September, and November. Should the regular November meeting fall during the week of Thanksgiving, the meeting shall be moved to the preceding week. Regular meetings may be held more frequently if necessary. Meeting agendas are available for public view at the West Regional library, at the Council Office at the courthouse and on the Library web page 5 days before scheduled meetings. To contact a member of the Library Board please e-mail the board secretary at LibraryBoard.Secretary@stcharles.lib.la.us or call 985-785-8464 and ask to speak to the Library Director. Persons wishing to speak before the board must notify the board secretary at least two days before a Library Board meeting to notify the board they will be speaking at the board meeting. All speakers are limited to a maximum presentation of five (5) minutes for requested Public Comment. Public Comment at the end of the meeting is limited to three (3) minutes per speaker.
